The Spandau RL is a bolt-action hunting rifle in .308 Winchester built on a short action compatible with the Remington 700 pattern. The 20-inch barrel is threaded and ships with a muzzle brake, a Picatinny rail sits on the receiver for optics, and the metal wears a black Oxynitride finish. The stock is Turkish walnut. It feeds from AICS-pattern magazines and includes one 3-round and one 5-round magazine. Our listing records it as used; the supplier text says NEW with a stock photo.

For Texas deer the general season opens November 7, 2026 and runs into January, and a .308 bolt gun with a rail and detachable magazines is a straightforward choice for a stand or a feeder. Feral hogs have no closed season or bag limit, so the rifle stays busy the rest of the year. The brake cuts recoil for faster follow-up shots, and the 700-pattern action means a wide choice of triggers and stocks later.
