Riley Defense's RAK74 Classic Teak is an American-made AK-74-pattern semi-automatic in 5.45x39mm Soviet with a 16.25-inch chrome-lined barrel threaded 24x1.5 right-hand. The receiver is heat-treated stamped steel with forged trunnion, bolt and carrier, the furniture is stained solid teak with a black polymer pistol grip, and the rifle weighs 7.7 pounds at 35.25 inches overall. It takes 30-round magazines, mounts optics on a machined side rail, and keeps the bayonet lug, cleaning rod, extended magazine release and a safety lever with a bolt hold-open notch.

The 5.45x39mm is a centerfire rifle cartridge, so under TPWD rules this rifle is legal for Texas deer in the general season and for feral hogs any day of the year with no bag limit. In practice its light recoil, adjustable iron sights and side-rail optic mount make it a range and hog-control rifle more than a deer gun, and the teak furniture sets it apart from the usual black-polymer AK.
