Cimarron's 1892 Case Hardened Carbine is a lever-action .45 Colt with a 20-inch blued barrel, a 10-round tubular magazine, and a case-hardened receiver set off by a blued lever. The walnut stock and forearm give it the period look, open sights are standard, and there is no manual safety. It weighs 5.8 pounds and runs 38.5 inches overall.

Light, short and quick to the shoulder, this carbine fits a Texas hunter in a stand where shots are close, and a .45 Colt lever gun is a centerfire rifle under TPWD rules, legal for deer in the general season and for hogs year-round with no bag limit. It also pairs with a .45 Colt revolver for one-cartridge cowboy action shooting, where the case-hardened finish and walnut look the part and ten rounds in the tube mean fewer reloads on a stage.
