The SIG Sauer Cross is a 6.5 Creedmoor bolt action that weighs 6.5 pounds and folds to travel: the synthetic precision-style stock hinges against the receiver, and the rifle measures 36.5 inches with the stock open. The 18-inch barrel is free-floated and threaded, the one-piece receiver is optic ready, and a free-floating M-LOK handguard takes bipods and lights. The two-stage match trigger is adjustable, the manual safety is ambidextrous, and a detachable five-round magazine is included for 5+1 capacity.

This is the rifle for a Texas hunter who walks in. The 2026-27 general deer season opens November 7 and runs into January in both zones, a centerfire bolt gun is legal statewide for deer, and hogs can be taken year-round with no bag limit. Fold the stock for the drive out, mount a scope on the receiver, and the 6.5 Creedmoor reaches across pasture edges where shots run long. Check your county's antler and antlerless rules in the TPWD Outdoor Annual.
