Across all 254 counties, Texas hunters chase whitetail in the brush country, hogs in the Piney Woods and pronghorn on the high plains of the Panhandle. A rifle that is light and fits well makes all of that easier, especially for a young or smaller hunter. That is what the Fierce Mini Rogue family is built for, with youth, women and smaller-framed shooters in mind.

Every Mini Rogue has a carbon fiber stock, a shorter length of pull and an adjustable comb or push-button cheek piece. The XP, Mini Rogue 2 and CT models add C3 carbon fiber barrels, and the CT Mini Rogue XP weighs around 6 lb. 6.5 Creedmoor and 7mm-08 Remington handle Texas deer and hogs, and 6.5 PRC reaches out across open country.

Fierce builds the Carbon Mini Rogue on its stainless steel two-lug action. A short 70-degree bolt throw keeps the scope clear, and the Bix'n Andy Dakota trigger can be adjusted to suit the buyer.

6.5 Creedmoor is one of the most popular hunting and target cartridges in the country: mild recoil, good long-range accuracy and ammunition you can find almost anywhere.

This rifle has a 20 in barrel, 4+1 capacity, and weighs about 5.8 lb. Finish: Sonora Carbon Ambush Camo.

Many Texas kids shoot their first deer from a box blind, resting the rifle on a window ledge. A short length of pull lets them sit up straight instead of stretching to reach the trigger. Set the comb height so the eye is centered on the scope from that seated position. Begin with 6mm or 25 Creedmoor for a first whitetail, then move up to 308 later.
