A West German Heckler & Koch VP70Z in 9mm, serial 83691, made in 1981 with a 4.6-inch barrel. The VP70Z is the civilian version of the VP70 and uses a polymer frame with an 18-round magazine. The slide shows slight storage wear; otherwise the supplier grades it excellent, and it comes with the box, papers and an extra magazine.

This is a collector's pistol for a Texas buyer who wants an early polymer-framed design with its factory paperwork, not a modern carry gun. The 18-round capacity and 4.6-inch barrel make it a full-size pistol for range sessions, and 9mm keeps that affordable. With box, papers and two magazines, it is the kind of complete example that holds value in a collection of German handguns of the period.
