A Custom Shop Series 70 appeals to Texas Colt collectors first, and the labeled box is part of what makes it worth having. It is also a full-size .45 that a Texas owner could run at the range or keep for home defense, with the adjustable sight and ambidextrous safety suiting a left-handed shooter. No permit or registration applies to the purchase in Texas.
