This German M16 Heer helmet is the early style with the chin strap lugs mounted on the inside of the shell. It is size 62 and the supplier grades it in good overall condition. The catalogue lists it under German headgear as SKU MM1374 and sells it as a used piece. No liner or strap condition is given beyond the overall grade, so the photographs are the reference for what remains inside the shell.

The M16 is described by the supplier as an iconic early steel helmet, and an early-pattern shell with inside lugs is the version a Texas collector of German headgear will want to add first. Size 62 is stated, which matters if the helmet is to sit on a head form of matching size or be compared against others in a group. Treat the good grade as honest wear on a steel shell and store it dry to hold the current surface.
