Colt's King Cobra Target in .22 LR is a stainless double-action revolver with a 4.25-inch barrel, a 10-round cylinder, 9.25 inches overall and 34 ounces on the scale. The hammer is exposed for single-action shooting when you want it, the rear sight adjusts for windage and elevation, and the front sight is fiber optic. A black Hogue overmolded grip wraps the frame.

Ten rounds of rimfire in a full-size steel frame make this a Texas range and training revolver rather than a carry piece: it teaches double-action trigger control on low-recoil ammunition and gives a new shooter a full day of practice without fatigue. The .22 LR is rimfire, which TPWD does not allow for deer, so this one stays on the range, where the adjustable rear sight and bright front dot earn their keep on small targets.
