The TacFire BU-308-20 is a complete .308 Winchester upper for AR-platform .308 lowers, built with a 20-inch black nitride-treated steel barrel, a black anodized aluminum receiver and an aluminum M-LOK handguard. It arrives assembled, ready to pin onto a compatible large-frame lower, with the nitride on the barrel chosen for wear and corrosion resistance and the anodizing on the receiver for a low-glare, protected surface.

A 20-inch .308 is a Texas deer and hog upper: .308 Winchester is a centerfire rifle cartridge, legal for deer across the state during the general season that opens November 7, and feral hogs can be taken any day of the year with no bag limit. The long barrel makes the most of the cartridge at pasture distances, the M-LOK handguard carries a bipod, and the complete-upper format means the swap onto a large-frame lower is two pins.
